Chateau GRAND BARI

The modern winery Chateau GRAND BARI is located in the heart of the Tokaj wine region in the village of Veľká Bara. Its impressive architecture, inspired by Italian style, is set into a hillside overlooking vineyards and offers a unique experience combining history, wine, and architecture. Visitors can enjoy high-quality wines, explore historic cellars, and also relax in comfortable accommodation directly at the winery.

● Wine tastings and tours
Discover the secrets of Tokaj wine during guided tours of production areas, tuff stone cellars, and vineyards. The experience also includes wine tasting in one of several tasting rooms depending on group size:

large cellar tasting room – capacity 45 people
small cellar tasting room – capacity 10 people
small tasting room in the entrance hall – capacity 8 people

● Tokaj exhibition
The winery building also hosts a Tokaj exhibition. The main highlight is an original wine press from 1873 – thanks to careful restoration work, visitors can see a true historical gem.

● Observation tower with bell tower
An iconic tower of the winery offering panoramic views of the Tokaj vineyards. The bell dedicated to St. Joseph symbolizes protection and blessing of the winery.

● Restaurant and accommodation
Guests can enjoy dishes made from regional ingredients perfectly paired with local wines. The restaurant is air-conditioned and has a capacity of 60 people, while the terrace accommodates 70 people. Visitors can stay in stylish apartments overlooking the vineyards. Each room is equipped with a LED TV, minibar, and balcony. Accommodation capacity is 33 people (11 double rooms + extra beds).
