Nabíjačky na elektrobicykle a prístrešky v Slovenskom raji - Smižany

In the recreational area Košiarny briežok in the village of Smižany, visitors can find a rest area with an e-bike charging station and an information kiosk.

To ensure visitors have everything they need for comfortable and informative exploration of the region, the site includes bicycle stands, large maps, information boards, waste bins, benches, and tables. The rest areas offer not only a place to relax, but also modern technological solutions. The roof structure contains double-sided photovoltaic panels that provide energy for a complete off-grid system with a 5 kW Li-Ion battery storage unit. Under the bench, technology is installed that allows cyclists to charge their e-bikes directly on site. This solution is not only practical but also environmentally friendly, reflecting the philosophy of sustainable regional development. The charging station includes five different charging connectors: BOSCH, BOSCH SMART, BAFANG MINI, BAFANG XLR, and SHIMANO, as well as a tire air compressor and a basic tool set (Allen keys).

A total of 10 e-bike charging stations were built in the villages of Hrabušice, Betlanovce, Letanovce, Arnutovce, Spišská Nová Ves, Košiarny briežok, Čingov, Mlynky, Dedinky, and Stratená. In addition, 7 cycling shelters were constructed near important tourist attractions. These innovative elements reflect the latest trends in cycling tourism while providing maximum comfort and safety.

The Slovak Paradise National Park offers more than 110 km of marked cycling trails connected across the entire region through unique places such as Čingov, Podlesok, Dedinky, Stratená, Tomášovský viewpoint, the Hornád Gorge, Letanovský Mill, and many others, with routes also connecting to the wider Spiš and Gemer regions.
