Andrášiovské rybníky Vlachovo

Vlachovo is a true paradise for nature lovers and sport fishing enthusiasts. This picturesque area, surrounded by beautiful forests, was chosen by the Andrássy family for the construction of fishponds due to its exceptional natural conditions. Today, these ponds are managed by the Slovak Fishing Union (SRZ). In the 1980s, two of the ponds were modernized to become ideal destinations for tourism and sport fishing.

In 1991, a third pond was also included in the renovation works. Juraj Hronec, who has been taking care of the Vlachovo ponds since 1977, has contributed to making this site popular among sport anglers who regularly return for its excellent fishing conditions. The Slaná River flows nearby, offering great opportunities for catching trout and grayling. Visitors can enjoy the charm of Vlachovo’s nature during their fishing adventures.
