Klokočov Campsite
Autocamping Klokočov is located directly on the shores of the Zemplínska Šírava reservoir. The campsite features a heated swimming pool, its own snack bar with a terrace and seating area, as well as basic services needed for a comfortable stay for caravan travelers. The entire area is also open to the public, and during the summer months the campsite becomes lively, similar to other campsites around Zemplínska Šírava.
Parking and camping in the shade of trees, evening barbecues, fishing opportunities, nearby attractions, and everything conveniently close by – this is what the campsite operated by the municipality of Klokočov offers.
Zemplínska Šírava itself provides plenty of opportunities for sports and social activities. Local bars, guesthouses, and restaurants organize various events, activities, and discos. From spring to autumn, visitors can rent motorboats or book sightseeing cruises. There are also rentals for boats, pedal boats, and paddleboards, while adrenaline lovers can enjoy wakeboarding and wakesurfing. During summer, visitors can also explore the area aboard a tourist road train.

Children can enjoy rides on the tourist road train during summer. Renting a motorboat or boat guarantees fun for the whole family. In case of bad weather, or simply for a change of pace, you can visit the nearby Thermalpark Šírava. If you enjoy hiking, beautiful views await you at the medieval church of Senderov. Other nearby attractions include Chlmecká skala, Jasenov Castle, Malé Morské Oko, Vinné, Vinianske Lake, and Viniansky Castle.
