Mine Flow Trail

Since 2012, the civic association Feudall Racing Support has been building a network of MTB trails on Rákoš Hill above the town of Rožňava. This supports the promotion of leisure activities not only in Slovakia but also abroad.

The town of Rožňava, as the owner of the Municipal Forests, approved an agreement for the use of the land for cycling purposes. Currently, there are about 20 trails of varying difficulty, used not only by cyclists but also by runners and the general public.

The construction of the new FLOW trail was naturally incorporated into the trail center’s strategy to provide a modern downhill trail connecting the top of the hill with its base and linking to the existing singletrack network. The route passes by mining engineering works that reflect the region’s rich history.

Technical parameters:
Length: 2,070 m
Elevation change: -204 m
Difficulty: Easy trail

The singletracks are accessible via paved roads directly from the town square and form logical loops of different difficulties. Navigation is ensured by information boards with maps at the main trailheads, as well as wooden signposts indicating direction, trail name, and difficulty level. GPS navigation is also possible using the TRAILFORKS app in offline mode.
