Sauna Tajch

In the popular recreational area at Lake Úhorná, inside the iconic boathouse, there is a sauna with electric heating. It offers beautiful views of the lake surface and the picturesque Volovské Hills. This year-round sauna is available by reservation through an online booking system for a specific date and time. After payment, customers receive instructions via email for self-service access to the sauna.

A sauna session lasts 2 hours. Guests can cool off in the lake or relax on sun loungers. The sauna has a maximum capacity of 5 people. Upon arrival, visitors switch on the electric stove and wait until the sauna heats up. The wooden interior creates a cozy atmosphere and includes a changing room. Sheets and towels can be rented for a small additional fee.

Sauna bathing as a healthy lifestyle can be perfectly combined with cold-water immersion in the lake. A truly refreshing experience for both body and mind.

The water reservoir was built in the 18th century on the Smolník stream and originally served as a water supply for mining facilities. Today, it is a popular fishing area and a sought-after recreational spot during the summer months. The lake attracts visitors with its clean and refreshing water and offers opportunities not only for swimming but also for boating.

The grassy shores gently slope into the water, making it an ideal place for relaxation and water activities, especially for families with children. In winter, the lake becomes a favorite spot for cold-water swimmers, as it often freezes.

The area around the lake includes restaurants, snack bars, accommodation options, and a children’s playground.
