SKI GUGEL - Mlynky

The ski resort SKI GUGEL – Mlynky is located in the Slovak Paradise region, in the village of Mlynky in the Košice Region. It is part of the larger Ski Mlynky area, which is one of the most important winter resorts in this region, offering high-quality conditions for winter sports in the natural environment of the Volovské Mountains.

The resort is situated on the northern slopes of Mount Gugel, at an altitude of approximately 765 to 966 meters above sea level, with a total elevation difference of about 200 meters. The ski season usually lasts from December to March, and the slopes are partially artificially snowed, ensuring better snow conditions during winter.

There are approximately 4.7 to 5.5 km of ski slopes of varying difficulty – from easy trails suitable for beginners to more challenging sections for experienced skiers. The resort is served by 2 to 3 lifts with a total capacity of about 1,350 people per hour.

The area also includes a children’s lift, making it suitable for families with children. In addition to alpine skiing, there are also conditions for cross-country skiing, with visitors able to use approximately 11 km of groomed cross-country trails.

Near the lifts, there are parking spaces and basic services such as snack bars, ski rental, and dining facilities. Thanks to its location and facilities, SKI GUGEL – Mlynky is especially suitable for families, beginners, and recreational skiers looking for a peaceful winter environment in the Slovak Paradise.
