Boat Cruise on the Bodrog River

The waters of the Bodrog River know no borders drawn on a map. Its gentle current carries visitors from the village of Viničky to the Hungarian town of Sárospatak, a popular summer destination. In addition to its well-known thermal baths, visitors can explore the historic Rákóczi Castle, one of the most important landmarks of the Tokaj region.

The cruises are operated by Tokajská lodná preprava Ltd., which runs two excursion boats: LX Flora (capacity 50 passengers) and LX Dáša (capacity 100 passengers). Throughout the journey, passengers can enjoy uninterrupted views of the surrounding nature, the river landscape, and the vineyards of Tokaj.

Regular cruises take place every weekend from May to October.

Cruises operate with a minimum of 35 participants.

A new floating pier with a total length of nearly 30 metres has recently been added at the departure port in Viničky / Streda nad Bodrogom. The facility primarily serves kayakers and canoeists, significantly improving conditions for water sports in the region. A covered relaxation area has also been built, providing comfortable facilities for visitors and athletes before and after their trip.

Looking for a private cruise or a party on the water? Tokajská lodná preprava Ltd. also offers private events, including corporate gatherings, celebrations, school trips, and even weddings on board. Catering can be arranged according to individual requirements. More adventurous visitors can enjoy a cruise on a small party boat through the oxbow branches of the Bodrog River.
