Cyklotrail Poráč

The village of Poráč is located in the Poráč Valley, on the border between Slovak Paradise and the Slovak Ore Mountains. Surrounded by picturesque hills and rich flora and fauna, it offers relaxation far from the noise of cities.

In the immediate vicinity of the Poráč Park mountain hotel, there are several MTB trails with different levels of difficulty and elevation gain. A new XC track with wooden obstacles has been added, including a cycling bridge, U-turn wall ride, jumps, and banked turns. During the season, the track serves as a training ground for cyclists of all age groups to improve their skills.

Cyclists enter the loop at the start/finish area, passing through a 2–3 km section featuring rocks, wooden obstacles, jumps, drops, and bridges that simulate diverse terrain. At the start/finish area, there is an information board showing the obstacles and their characteristics. The track is clearly marked with directional signs to prevent riding in the opposite direction.

International cycling races for various categories are held annually in Poráč Park.
