A work with a poetic title, borrowed from a traditional folk proverb, is created mainly from recycled building material from wooden folk architecture. Pilát brings into the landscape a striking object situated between monumental sculpture and architectural lookout structures. The elementary shape of an arch, combined with the chosen material and specific construction, carries not only the function of a viewing tower but also a spectrum of meanings.

A rainbow connects the sky and the earth; it is a symbol of hope and is associated with happiness and rare, special moments. The material of the work “The Rainbow Drinks Water” comes from traditional folk architecture, and original building techniques are used in its creation, forming a symbolic bridge between the past and the present.
