Klasicistický kaštieľ vo Veľkom Kamenci

The manor house was built at the end of the 17th century in Baroque style, located beneath the ruins of a medieval castle in the village of Veľký Kamenec. Construction materials from the demolished castle were reused in its building. At the beginning of the 19th century, it underwent a significant reconstruction during which it acquired its current Classicist appearance.

This Classicist manor house, also known as Fischer’s Manor House (Szirmay–Fischer Manor House), is a two-storey building with a basement. It has a rectangular floor plan with a central risalit projecting from the main façade and a hipped roof from the early 19th century. The risalit is topped with a triangular pediment and a gabled roof.

The façades are decorated with original recessed windows featuring arched surrounds. After 1946, the manor house underwent extensive modifications that significantly altered its original appearance.
