Múzeum "Po stopách času"
The “Po stopách času” (In the Footsteps of Time) Museum in Pusté Čemerné offers a unique insight into the history of the village. It is located in a former Jewish inn featuring a remarkable stucco façade from the Austro-Hungarian era.
Visitors can travel back in time thanks to permanent exhibitions that present various aspects of life in Pusté Čemerné. The museum documents the stories of emigrants to America, historical maps of the village, the local aristocracy, traditional crafts, and the business activities of the innkeeper Dávid Deutsch. It also includes a unique zeolite cellar and exhibitions dedicated to the local clergy.
The museum provides a comprehensive view of the village’s past and allows visitors to connect with its history and present-day inhabitants who work to preserve its rich heritage. For history enthusiasts, it is a true hidden gem.
