Koniareň Gallery

Koniareň Gallery, operated by the civic association Kontext since 2013, is a space dedicated to contemporary art in Trebišov. The gallery focuses on presenting and supporting contemporary artworks through exhibitions and educational activities. Kontext actively cooperates on international projects, including Slovak Art Days, which have been held in cities such as Vienna, London, Amsterdam, and Vilnius.

Koniareň Gallery also organizes the annual festival Intervencie, during which young and established artists intervene in the public space of Trebišov. Another important event is Park CAMP, a summer workshop of visual arts held in the historic park of Trebišov. This workshop is intended for students of higher art schools and is organized in cooperation with the Slovak Organization of Arts and Culture.
