Pilgrim’s Garden – Rosarium
Next to the Rosary House in Vysoká nad Uhom, you will find the Pilgrim’s Garden – a peaceful place that connects spiritual tourism with nature and offers space for reflection, slowing down and taking a break from the rush of everyday life. The garden extends the outdoor area of the Rosary House, which is closely linked to the life of Blessed Anna Kolesárová. Its concept draws on the ideas of solitude, simplicity and retreat. It is a place where you can disconnect for a while, recharge, appreciate the beauty of the surrounding nature and devote time to yourself and your thoughts.
Roses are the main feature of the garden, including some original varieties that are around 50 years old. They are complemented by newly planted trees, shrubs and flowers. As the queen of flowers, the rose also symbolises the beauty and uniqueness of every person. A winding path leads visitors through the garden to architectural elements representing four emotions that accompany people through life – joy, pain, victory and celebration. The garden is intended for pilgrims, families, young people, cyclists, as well as anyone seeking peace, relaxation and a closer connection with nature.
The Pilgrim’s Garden is freely accessible all year round, with no fixed opening hours. We recommend combining your visit with discovering other places within the pilgrimage complex in Vysoká nad Uhom and learning more about the story of Blessed Anna Kolesárová.
